While audience is coming to the venue there is no one on the stage. It also is essential that technician’s table is placed next to the stage. Technician can be at the table while people are gathering or can come later. When all members of the audience has come, Technician stands up in front of them but not on the stage.
TECHNICIAN Good evening. Before we start I was asked to say that this play… Is non traditional. Well, it would be easier to say that this is an experimental, textual performance. It’s gonna be about an hour long. We would like to ask you not to film or take pictures during the performance. Also, I have to read a few lines from creators and actors:
“Welcome. Today you are going to learn “The Legend about NOAU”. It has a long and interesting history, just as a spring, revealing newness. Sadly, we don’t have enough time read it so we just would like to say that the original scripture of the legends has been altered to fit actualities of contemporary times. Also this text requires composure and activeness. We hope you will have meaningful time and THANK YOU for coming.”
So, have a nice and meaningful evening.
Technician goes to his seat and starts “work”. Lights go out. We hear calm, minimalistic, a little meditative music which is enhanced with light effects. Everything has to calm down the viewer. There are no actors on the stage. On the back wall the first note appears. Words must be large and clear enough to be read. Words are not in a hurry.
In these pages there are written the words seen on the wall.
PROLOGUE

Scene 1. “Life”
Long time ago,
Far, far into the future
From the usual cloudy day…

Just “Life”.
It didn’t have a name.
And no one named it.
It had a form…

see and listen.

Emotions and feelings,

...and everyone who was next to it…
...could see it and touch it.

Even then people knew and felt
that everything is constantly changing.

Tomorrow can become a “Desert”.

As did religions, some time ago…
